MISSIONS

We believe Jesus calls us to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), which includes outreach, evangelism, and discipleship. These involve our congregation first, then extend outward to our neighborhoods and even the world.

OUR MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:


  • Summer Vacation Bible School
  • Refugee assistance and stabilization
  • A sister-church relationship with Savanne Carree (Haiti) and Nuevo Amanecer (Bethlehem, PA)
  • Prayer and financial support of long-term missionaries
  • Prayer and financial support of short-term missionaries and those in mission training
  • Helping other missions-related programs outside our church

  • Church of the Brethren mission activity in Nigeria and Haiti
  • Local Church of the Brethren urban mission churches
  • Ministry in Peru for those in need
  • Ministry to local people in need

  • Those serving at the Alaska Bible College


 

  • Ministry to those with physical disabilities
  • Ministry to those struggling with sexual addiction
  • Ministry to truck drivers
  • Ministry to women facing unplanned pregnancies
  • Summer camping ministry
  • Ministry to local prison inmates
  • Ministry to people with terminal illness
  • Providing supplies for medical mission
